Last night we battled some serious beltway traffic to attend Mosaic Fashion Night located at the new Mosaic District in Fairfax, VA. Our first stop was the grand opening of South Moon Under, which was teeming with stylish girls from around the DC area taking advantage of the storewide discounts and give-aways. After snapping a photo and chatting with infamous blogger-turned-author Emily Schuman from Cupcakes & Cashmere, we shamelessly stuffed ourselves with miniature Georgetown Cupcakes and imbibed some sort of champagne/juice concoction while shopping. Then, following a brief impromptu photoshoot with Dan Swartz (www.revamp.com), we skipped next door to the opening of Langford Market- the perfect respite for a blistery cold evening. Their brand manager, Davina (how awesome is her name?!), has some serious decor skills. We totally fell in love with the imported cedar clothing racks and crazy metallic light fixture. Kelley especially dug the Southwestern vibes.
